Honeymoon Trapped Georges Storm in Puerto Rico

Kelly Flores and her husband found themselves in the midst of the storm on their honeymoon. The couple was supposed to fly to St. Lucia, stopping briefly in Puerto Rico to change planes. "After arriving in Puerto Rico, we discovered why our plane was not full and why our flight to St. Lucia had been canceled," wrote Flores. Hurricane Georges, a category four, was heading for Puerto Rico and will be there at night. Although she was trying to leave but the couple was trapped. Flores, a native of Virginia Beach said although she had never experienced a storm, but this is the worst. "If you're not at home, things were different, and it was very scary," she said. The hotel is asking everyone to go into the ballroom. They could hear the storm destroyed the steel window and when they heard glass breaking, they all went to the older part of the building that are all made of concrete blocks. After the storm passed, Flores and her husband managed to reach St Lucia, where they stayed several days. But the "coup de grace," she said, when in the flight home, they met the couple who flew on the day the same, so they asked if they caught the storm, and they said no. They should go through Puerto Rico, as well, but the airlines they put them through Miami because of a storm.
