St. Basil's Cathedral, Russia

St. Basil's Cathedral is located on Red Square Moscow, Russia. A Russian Orthodox church that displays bright colorful domes towering taper to a point. Domes are similar to onions that have different colors so that it becomes part of the beauty of the scenery air Kremlin, Moscow.

St. Basil's Cathedral was founded by Ivan, the Mighty, to commemorate the capture of the Khanate from Khazan. In 1588, Emperor Fedor Ivanovich add private chapel at the east side of the main building, directly above the tomb of St. Basil, Follower of Christ, a saint of the Russian Orthodox Church, so that the cathedral was then known by the name of St. Basil's Cathedral.
